Disney & Travel for Grown-Ups

Not a guide.
An observation deck
to the experience.

I've been walking through Disney's gates since 1976. I've covered Napa wineries, Smoky Mountain hotels, and everything in between. I only recommend what I'd actually use and I'll tell you straight when something isn't worth it.

What this channel is

The Person Behind the Channel

Not an influencer.
Just someone who pays attention.

I'm Ashley, an Orlando local, Disney Vacation Club member, and annual passholder who has been walking through those park gates since 1976. I've also spent time in Napa Valley wine country, the Smoky Mountains, and plenty of places in between. I cover what I actually go to, and I try to show you enough of what's there that you can figure out for yourself whether it belongs on your trip.

Magical MeandEars started because I kept having the same conversation with friends, with family, with strangers in planning groups where someone was about to make a completely avoidable mistake. Wrong hotel for how they actually travel. No idea what a signature dining experience really delivers. Spending money on things that sound great and land flat. I made this channel to have that conversation at scale.

I'm not a hype machine. I won't tell you every experience is magical and worth every penny. What I will do is walk you through what's there the room, the vibe, the food, the real tradeoffs and let you make up your own mind. Think of it less like a review and more like footage from someone who was already there.
